      A Benefit Specialist contributes to AHF by contributing to AHF's mission by providing interactive face-to-face interviews with clients to determine eligibility for public and/or private financial and/or health insurance programs.

      A Benefit Specialist enhances the reputation of AHF by helping to navigate a patient through the may public assistant programs and private insurance in a helpful manner. A Benefits Specialist also assists clients in the completion of benefit applications and makes appropriate referrals for any and all county, state, and/or federal programs.

      You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives.

      To be successful as a Benefits Specialist it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees.

      AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

      The Benefits Specialist will work as a part of a close-knit team to ensure Customer Service is delivered to patients and within our organization. We treat each patient with respect and dignity and ensure that our patients are serviced in a friendly and professional atmosphere is key to patient satisfaction.
