Timing:
The start date for this position will be end of September or early October in 2023.
Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 per year.
Location:
This is a remote position (within the United States), or you can work from one of our offices in Portland, ME; Shawnee, KS; or Orlando, FL.
Job Description:
At Veritas Prime, we rely on knowledgeable professionals to interact with our valued customers who have questions, concerns, or need basic support. As a Benefits Support Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients in managing day-to-day activities. This team member will handle a variety of important supportive tasks including ticket management, answering emails from clients and their employees, provide clear and concise direction, task management, and aid in entering carrier decisions into our benefits tool. During renewal season, you will assist Benefit Customer Success Managers in basic configuration changes for the client’s upcoming plan year.
Areas of focus within this role can include:
• Daily support ticket management for multiple clients
• Proactive email management from clients’ customers for benefits questions
• Processing document verification requests
• Processing Evidence of Insurability (EOI) requests
• Provide assistance during annual enrollment season
• Work with Benefits Customer Success Managers to proactively track changes in requirements
• Willingness to understand dependencies from SAP SuccessFactors and to SAP Employee Central Payroll
• PlanSource and/or SAP Employee Central Benefits experience is a plus
• Experience in a benefits administrator or broker capacity is a plus
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalentExperience:
• Experience in customer service and support
• Basic understanding of connectedness between HRIS, Benefits, Payroll, and Carrier systemsSkills:
• Understand benefits including federal and state-based compliance, ACA, COBRA, life and ancillary benefit, etc.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Open to learning multiple benefits technologyCommunications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skillsTools:
