  Bottling Line Operator

  Bottling operators work 2nd Shift (3PM - 11:30PM), Monday-Friday.

  Must be open to training on days for 2-6 weeks and then moving to second shift.

  First Shift will be 7AM - 3:30PM.

  Pay: 21/hr

  Job Description

  As a Bottling Line Operator, you will be responsible for operating various production machinery in a safe and efficient manner. You will ensure the quality of products through inspection and adherence to standard operating procedures.

  Responsibilities

  • Operate bottling line machines and equipment correctly, safely, and efficiently.
  • Detect and troubleshoot malfunctions in bottling line machines and equipment.
  • Address and resolve equipment issues or escalate them to the Team Coordinator or Supervisor.
  • Adjust machines to achieve optimal performance while following all safety protocols.
  • Inspect products and packaging materials at various stages for quality assurance.
  • Perform and document reports and product quality inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives, problem-solving, Lean practices, Self-Directed Teams, continuous improvement, and line efficiencies.
  • Perform changeovers and autonomous maintenance on equipment.
  • Participate in SMED activities to improve the changeover process and line performance.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and SOPs are accurately followed and documented.
  • Perform housekeeping activities as required.
  • Work any shift and/or overtime as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  Essential Skills

  • Experience in depalletizing, filling, rinsing, capping, labeling, case packing, case labeling, and palletization.
  • Experience as a Machine Operator, Mechanic, or Bottling Operator.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mathematical, reading, and comprehension skills.
  • Good communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and timely.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform autonomous maintenance.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  Work Environment

  Work activity takes place in a bottling facility with exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and operating equipment. The environment can have fluctuating temperatures, both hot and cold.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
