      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze and report on revenue and expense patterns and trends within assigned departments/agencies
      - Prepare, organize, and present research or analysis results to inform decision-makers
      - Contribute to the development of the Governor's Executive Budget recommendation
      - Utilize advanced analytical capabilities to influence public policy
      - Collaborate with team members to support budget administration and legislative processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, political science, public administration, public policy, resource management, or related field
      - One to three years of professional experience in budget analysis or financial data evaluation, depending on the level applied for
      - Knowledge of public administration principles and legislative processes
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
      - Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with a State's Budget and Financial Management System
      - Certifications such as Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO)
      - Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, or Political Science
      - Experience in budget development, review, and interpretation
      - Familiarity with financial impact analysis and legislative bill evaluation
