Job Description :
In a high Security risk market such as Mexico, the role shall operate with the appropriate security measures within the AOP by supervising and handling security and budget appropriately.
A deep deterioration of security situation in Mexico, could affect our agricultural, production and logistic operation, product availability and the business performance in Mexico.
Provide strategic business partnering support to enable delivery of proactive fit for purpose security and BCP risk management in a manner that delivers brilliant execution and oriented solutions while appropriately leading and mitigating the associated security and business continuity risks and driving coordinated performance to protect and maintain reputation.
High level of independent work and initiative required for performance of role. Role models the Diageo leadership capabilities, mentor, and empower the team, build interdependency with the rest of the organization.
Continuous communication and support to key customers in the business. Ensure excellent performance on compliance matters, including management of BCP, training and mentor. Security trusted advisor for Supply business. Owning/leading the Business Continuity Management Global Standard, and formulating/driving the strategy for Supply.
Training program (developing educational materials, online training courses, running live training events etc.) to strengthen the skills and abilities of all Crisis Management Team (CMT) members and Supply employees. Crafting and maintaining BCM risk assessment, crisis management and business continuity plans and templates, ensuring alignment with local regulatory and legal requirements and industry standard process.
Cyber Resilience program - identifying BCM cyber-risks, developing fit to purpose cyber-BMC plans and training materials, and ensuring program implementation. Ensures the CMTs that would lead a global cyber crisis are trained and fit for purpose.
Giving to the global response to crises and significant events. Own the CMT in Supply. Participate in crisis management in the event against Supply employee or executive threat. Lead, coordinate and implement tabletop exercises annually to strengthen the CMT's responsiveness, taking Diageo's FACTS process as a reference. Perform all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance safety & security requirements. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task efficiently and meet goals.
Strong communicator able to develop strong cross-functional and collaborative working relationships. Good understanding of accounting fundamentals, such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgets, etc. Excellent ability to know how and when to lead and be a great teammate.
Consistent track record in achieving/exceeding predetermined sales targets and be able to provide details of past achievements. Advanced PC skills and general knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Strong supervisory skills and the ability to handle a diverse group of employees in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent digital literacy, proficient in MS Office. Strong interpersonal skills; Self-confidence and strong personality. Ability to stay focused by constantly reassessing priorities and leading expectations within the business. Ability to work confidently, persuasively and to gain the respect and trust of other senior managers. Flexible demeanor to travel. The need to be fully mobile and available on a 24-hour on-call basis, to respond to crisis situations.
Personal drive and pro-activeness. Strong social skills (Diageo works though knowing the right people, not through operating processes). Ability to constantly prioritize and lead expectations from a large and fast paced business. Ability to act confidentially and discreetly. Good understanding of general security including threat and developing risk.
In-depth knowledge of security issues almost certainly acquired from several years’ experience in a law enforcement agency, armed forces or security industry. Knowledge of interaction between company and law enforcement agencies in kidnap/extortion and crisis management cases. Analysis, conducting site surveys, crisis management. Strong integrity.
