What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming phone calls from clients, members, subscribers, or the public
- Respond to questions directly and route calls to the appropriate person if necessary
- Counsel callers who are upset or have urgent concerns
- Educate callers about available services, products, or benefits
- Oversee service schedules and ensure information provided to the public is current
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of call center experience
- Excellent data entry skills with a typing speed of 45-55 wpm minimum
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to deliver quality customer service in a high-volume environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in advising and counseling customers efficiently
- Strong multitasking abilities while interacting with customers
- Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality
