What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of critical care physicians and cardiothoracic surgeons
- Perform bedside ICU and Acute Care procedures for critically ill patients
- Provide comprehensive care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients
- Participate in the education and training of nursing and resident staff
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current and valid state Registered Nurse Licensure for ARNP or Physician Assistant licensure for PA-C
- Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Nationally certified ARNP/PA with DEA
- Proven excellence in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment
- Effective interpersonal, leadership, and clinical skills in critical care
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Advanced certifications related to cardiothoracic care
- Participation in research or quality improvement projects
- Strong communication skills in a multilingual environment
