Objective: Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key chain accounts to drive sales growth and brand visibility for Craft New York’s portfolio. This individual will act as a point of contact for national and regional chain buyers, ensuring seamless communication between Craft New York, its suppliers, and retail partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chain account operations, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to execute strategic sales initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Account Management & Sales Execution

• Oversee the execution of chain programming, including promotions, pricing strategies, and brand placement
• Develop and maintain long term relationships with national and regional chain buyers, district managers, and key stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive volume and revenue growth
• Work closely with supplier sales teams to ensure alignment and execution of sales goals
• Monitor and track account performance, providing regular updates to management on sales trends, competitor activity, and key developments

Strategic Planning & Market Analysis

• Develop and execute chain account sales strategies that align with company objectives
• Utilize IRI/Nielsen data and other sales analytics tools to track performance, identity trends, and make data-driven recommendations
• Benchmark competitor performance and provide insights to enhance Craft New York’s market positioning
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to develop effective promotional strategies
• Ensure all programming and brand initiatives comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Collaboration & Execution

• Work cross-functionally with suppliers and internal sales teams to drive account success
• Partner with distributor management and sales teams to achieve chain sales objectives
• Ensure execution of chain programs at the retail level by maintaining strong relationships with store level decision makers
• Coordinate and track all ongoing programs to ensure successful wholesaler execution
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred, MBA a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in national or regional chain account management, preferably in the beverage industry
• Strong understanding of chain account operations and the three-tier distribution system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales related software
• Experience utilizing IRI/Nielsen or similar data analytics tools
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending and reaching
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory
• Exposure to various weather conditions while visiting accounts

Salary Range:

• $60,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
