      Red River's Collaboration Engineer’s primary responsibility is to provide Cisco based Collaboration implementation services for Red River’s growing customer base. The Collaboration Engineer will assist our Program Management Team during installations at customer sites nationwide. The successfully hired Engineer will design, implement and support best practice Collaboration and develop repeatable processes around security solutions for customers. Additionally, the Engineer will work closely with existing technical staff to support Red River’s internal collaboration, security and networking infrastructure best practices. For the right individual, this position has significant growth potential.


      Expert Level Cisco Unified Communications skills with:

      • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), Cisco ISR 4000 and Catalyst 8000 Voice Gateways, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)

      • Experience with UCCX and other ACD platforms

      • VG4XX/3XX experience desired but not a must

      • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal form

      • Motivated by challenges and has a strong sense of commitment to objectives

      • Detail-oriented and organized with an inquisitive nature that is open to learning from all sources

      • Ability to foster strong relationships at all levels

      • Train lower level engineers on best practices

      • Maintain industry certifications as required

      Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

      • Min 5 years related experience in a field role

      • Equivalent Military training and experience

      • Cisco Certified Network Associate – Collaboration

      • Understanding of Cisco network routing and switching protocols

      Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

      • Cisco Partnership experience is highly desired

      • Cisco Certified Network Professional – Collaboration

      • Cisco Certified Network Associate – Route/Switch

      • Four-year BS in Computer Science or related field

      Other Desired Skills

      • Ability to oversee large phone deployments

      • Interface with customer during deployment to ensure project is on schedule

      • Manage subcontractors and other personnel in their job functions while on site

      • Provide daily status and other reports as needed during deployments

      Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):

      This position requires the ability to run cable in network cabinets and lift up to 75 pounds.

      Special Requirements:
      Travel to regional customer sites as required to support Red River business initiatives. Travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites nationwide.

      The estimated annual salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
