Job Description

- 5 to 7 years of experience as DevOps Engineer
- BTech/MTech in CS/E&C/IT or MCA
- Certification in any Cloud based services such as Azure/AWS/GCP would be an added advantage
- Design and implementing of end-to-end CX pipelines
- Virtualization, Containers and Orchestration
- Cloud platforms, their services - like MS Azure, AWS, GCP
- DevOps / CX Tools - Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Selenium, Docker, LXC, Nagios, Splunk, Bamboo or Jenkins, Kubernetes, Grafana, InfluxDB
- Infrastructure Automation Tools - Chef, Ansible, Saltstack, Puppet, etc (Infrastructure As Code)
- Software Security Skills
- SW Testing - Unit, Integration, System, Load testing, performance, security, regression testing
- Scripting & Language Skills - Python, Groovy, Shell, Perl
- Strong operational experience in Linux/Unix environment
- Integrating unit testing tools such as cantata in the CI pipeline
- Integrating code coverage tools such as QAC, Coverity etc.
- Packaging tools such as Conan would be an added advantage
- Strong automation skills (tool agnostic) and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes (for Lead developer)
- Excellent communication and collaboration soft skills
- Comprehensive Knowledge of C-I/T/D/M
- Continuous Integration Skills - Version control, builds, and remediation.
- Tenets and best practices of Continuous Testing (CT)
- Continuous Delivery and Deployment (CD) - packaging, containers, and release
- Continuous Monitoring (CM) - monitoring and analysis infrastructure, process, and applications
- Knowledge on phases of Software development life cycle
- Knowledge on SW delivery pipeline, development environment, Build & Integration.
- Checkout, Compile, Package, Verify, Quality Scan, Publish Artifact, Deploy to Development and Functional Testing
- Build & Release tools on Linux and Windows
- Branching & Merging strategy
- Code Quality Metrics
- Performance Testing and tools Release processes
- Ability to gel well with Agile teams in real spirit (culture & mindset)
- Work experience in Automotive Domain is an added advantage
- Passion to learn new technologies beyond current experience is highly appreciated
