What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage outbound and inbound collection calls with customers
- Balance scripted conversation with natural rapport
- Use probing questions to identify customers' financial situations and determine reasons for delinquency
- Educate customers on account terms and alternate payment programs and methods
- Negotiate repayment by using critical thinking to offer solutions that best suit the consumer and the business

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to reliably work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week)
- Proficiency with Windows and moderate typing skills
- Must be an assertive communicator able to conduct calls using professional language and proper grammar

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency with basic math including percentage calculations and payment plans
- Experience in a customer service or collections role
