Job Description

- Supporting the HRD and management team to deliver targets and collaborating with the right people to deliver effectively on time
- Making sure that there are continuous efficiency improvements in data collection, analysis and distribution to support reporting
- Developing close working relationships with internal functions such as Compensation and Benefits, Finance and our external providers such as Salesforce, to provide meaningful, timely data and drive performance.
- Identifying areas across channels where data is missing and driving actions to resolve the gaps
- Lead, motivate, develop and performance manage our retail teams to continuously improve and increase their capability and deliver against quality, performance/ sales targets.
- Ensure customer service standards are understood and observed by everyone to ensure all participants are provided with the same high standard of service
- Proactively build your knowledge of performance and insight across the company, and industry to continuously improve the relevance and impact of our performance measures and the associated incentive programmes.
- Required Knowledge
- We’re looking for someone with a detailed understanding of collating, interpreting and analysing performance data and information. You’ll also have experience of analysing complex information, identifying gaps, problem-solving and using data to drive decisions.
- Experience of running and supporting HR Performance Management programmes.
- HR qualification or hands on experience within HR supporting retail and commercial colleagues.
- Fantastic people skills, being able to motivate and engage people to help support their performance and development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organisation with an ability to influence and bring together key stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
- Demonstrable ability of being driven, proactive and passionate about providing an exceptional service delivery through the team.
- Experience of developing and delivering performance metrics for people development and business growth.
- Developed incentive and bonus programmes for teams and individuals across multiple geographies.
- Ability to understand and decipher key financial drivers from the P&L.
- Understanding of employer’s needs, experience of training needs analysis and organisational needs analysis, translating these to fit for purpose programmes and services.
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Ideally experience within a complex, multi geography, multi distribution sales organisation
- There is a high autonomy culture within the team and organisation, and the role requires someone who is well organised, pro-active and can use their initiative to do what works.

Commercial HR Performance Manager – London with Hybrid working

About the role:
The Commercial Employee Performance Manager reports directly to the Commercial HR Director with a dotted line to the Head of Talent, Development and Performance. The post is part of the HR team and will support our Global Commercial Organisation as we increase our footprint across UK, Europe, USA and EMEA.
We need to ensure our people have the skills and capabilities to deliver the Lotus Objective Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales, customer service and market growth. A key part of the role is to develop, shape and monitor our reward and recognition programme to incentivise the best outcome from our employees in their local markets and our London Headquarters. You will work closely with our Compensation and Benefits team.
The Commercial Employee Performance Manager is responsible for leading and driving our teams to achieve all performance and quality targets and ensure the delivery service meets the needs of the participating individuals. Inspiring others through your leadership skills and capability to enhance team and participant positive outcomes.
The role will also focus on quality and continuous improvement through effective monitoring and reporting on our deliverables. The role will ensure that KPIs/OKRs on capacity and performance against targets are monitored, achieved, and maintained and that the need for proactive corrective action in conjunction with our services and operations are communicated and understood.
You will own the completion of the annual individual performance management cycle, working with the management team to ensure everyone has clear objectives and individual development plans using the central Lotus tools, aligned to our Lotus Way behaviours, Respect, One Team, Ambition and Drive and focusing on our new Leadership Capabilities.
The role will ensure our people (USLot) benefit through consistent approaches to performance monitoring and all corrective action is taken promptly to address areas requiring improvement and to mitigate any risks. We have challenging targets through to 2028 so this role will be critical in keeping everything on track.
