- Manage WTB's overall community relations strategy for a portfolio of 7 markets.
- Ensure alignment with the corporate brand and annual business goals through sponsorships, volunteer opportunities and guerilla marketing initiatives.
- Guide the bank’s employee volunteer efforts that support the overall goals of our corporate and market initiatives to create the most positive impact for the communities we serve.
- Serve as the company community relations representative at meetings and events.
- Develop content for social media platforms as it pertains to community relations, events, and guerilla marketing.
- Manages the overall community relations strategy for a portfolio of 7 markets ensuring alignment with the corporate brand and annual business goals.
- Acts as bank spokesperson for community events as directed by management.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting on overall community impact through sponsorship dollars, volunteer efforts and guerilla marketing initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are completed.
- Manages bank-developed events ensuring all details are completed on time and within budget including regional and bank wide events.
- Responsible for developing and managing marketing budgets for all bank and marketing events.
- Oversees development, planning and execution of bank wide community relations initiatives, volunteer efforts and guerilla marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
- Develops the strategy for social media content as it pertains to bank wide events and community support.
- Manages the Crew in Blue and volunteer opportunities to employees as it pertains to bank wide events.
- Manages Employee Facebook page to include but not limited to administering appropriate access, developing content, and monitoring channel.
- Represents the marketing team across all markets as it pertains to community and bank events.
- Collaborates with internal and external resources to support established community events.
- Develops content for online and social media to leverage the bank’s brand and participation in community functions throughout all regions in which the bank conducts business.
- Works with cross-functional teams on developing and revising content to measure against business and marketing goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with members of the community, key individuals, and other organizations.
- Administers and oversees the bank’s internal community involvement committee.
- Responsible for managing the strategy for bank-adopted volunteer software to track community impact.
- Supervises assigned employee(s) to ensure personnel are trained and/or cross-trained to meet department needs and competency requirements.
- Performs compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
- 5-7 years of Community Relations, Event Strategy Creation, Community Impact Strategy, and/or Project management experience preferred, with proven ability to manage project teams consisting of both internal and external partners while meeting budget, performance, and timeline parameters.
- Knowledge of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style with proven editorial skills and an outstanding command of the English language.
- High degree of PC based technical skill, including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products with knowledge of Clients and Profits software a plus.
- Familiarity in web analytics tools (Google Analytics), social media marketing applications and leading social media monitoring platforms.
- Experience creating a resource or library of content.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- College degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred with experience in advertising agency environment preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
COMPENSATION: $60,873.00 - $91,361.00
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is also eligible to participate in an applicable annual bonus plan.
