  We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. This role supports daily operations at our materials facility, including work related to aggregates, asphalt production, recycling, and general site maintenance. The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, physically capable, and eager to learn within a fast‑paced construction environment.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily plant operations, including material handling, equipment support, and site upkeep.
  • Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, raking, and debris removal.
  • Support asphalt, aggregate, and recycling operations by helping load materials, monitor conveyors, and maintain clean work areas.
  • ️ Work alongside equipment operators to ensure smooth and safe production flow.
  • ️ Perform basic maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs under supervision.
  • Assist with stockpile management, material movement, and yard organization.
  • Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures at all times.
  • Report hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and maintain a productive work environment.

  Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, materials production, or heavy civil work is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work outdoors, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable working around heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
