  Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Construction Project Manager, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and monitor project engineering budgets, and handle project billing as directed.
  • Provide daily supervision to all field staff under your management.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals, coordinating with design engineers for technical reviews.
  • Ensure daily evaluation of the work being done, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, including agencies, clients, engineers, and contractors.
  • Organize and lead pre-construction and job meetings, preparing and distributing minutes accordingly.
  • Address Contractor issues related to plan and specification interpretations, coordinating resolutions.
  • Assess work for compliance with plans and specifications, recommending acceptance or rejection.
  • Manage and process design change requests, and negotiate extra work costs when necessary.

  Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction or contracting.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or Construction is preferred.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Experience in site development, general trades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roofing.
  • A strong understanding of construction management, budget management, inspection, and testing.
  • Self-motivation with a strong desire for professional advancement.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
