Content Marketing Specialist- Military Aviation

- Support primary marketing/communications across multiple aviation markets, including General Aviation, Business Aviation, and Military Aviation, by creating and writing key marketing materials, including but not limited to writing copy for website pages, printed collateral, event signage, marketing and event presentations, social media posts, blog articles, video scripts, advertising copy and other corporate communication projects as assigned.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including crafting compelling subject lines, body content, and calls-to-action.
- Conduct thorough copy editing and proofreading of marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging.
- Support sales team by creating/writing/editing/updating sales collateral, presentations, and other related written materials, such as white papers and customer case studies.
- Interview and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and customers to generate needed content.
- Work with the content team to develop creative concepts and templates for the various content types enumerated above.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in content marketing and copywriting, preferably in aviation and/or software-related fields.
- Exceptional detail-oriented writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proven experience in technical writing and ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly content.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute tasks within specified timelines.
- Aviation experience or knowledge across General Aviation, Business Aviation, and/or Military Aviation preferred.
- Strong speaking and writing skills in English required, additional language skills preferred.
- Must submit a portfolio of work covering a range of writing formats.

About the Role
Jeppesen ForeFlight is looking for an exceptional writer and content marketing professional with a passion for aviation and a talent for producing engaging, innovative content to support our global customer base, including a strong focus on military aviation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and/or knowledge in aviation (General Aviation, Business Aviation, and/or Military Aviation) and/or software/technology marketing, as well as strong technical writing skills.
We're looking for someone who has an astute marketing sensibility and loves producing creative written marketing content in a range of formats, including website product pages, email newsletters, sales presentations and collateral, blog articles, advertising copy, video scripts, brochure copy, and social media posts. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in technical writing and be able to clearly communicate complex product features and easy-to-follow instructional content.
In addition, our extremely fast pace of development and highly-technical focus require that a candidate be an exceptional and enthusiastic learner, someone who eagerly dives into new app features, seeks out small details, and isn't afraid to ask whatever questions are necessary to arrive at a complete understanding of a feature's function and value to the customer.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $78,000-$95,000
