What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with commercial payors and managed care organizations
- Oversee Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, revalidation, and change of ownership filings
- Provide legal guidance on Medicare and Medicaid statutes, regulations, and sub-regulatory guidance
- Conduct legal research on healthcare laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
- Communicate with government agencies and support internal investigations and audits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare law
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
