What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide in-house legal counsel on a wide range of commercial and operational matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including supply, purchase, and IT contracts
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Manage contract workflows and oversee tracking systems to improve enterprise contract management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to support due diligence and integration initiatives for M&A activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution
- Current member in good standing of a bar association in a U.S. State
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a practicing transactional attorney, focusing on commercial contracts
- Strong background in contract drafting and negotiation
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in manufacturing or FDA-regulated industry
- Familiarity with commercial Contract Management Systems
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of contracts and multiple projects simultaneously
