The Corporate Security Officer I is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all company
personnel, property, and visitors. This role includes monitoring access points, responding to incidents,
performing routine patrols, and enforcing company security protocols to maintain a secure
environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Screen all visitors, vendors, and guests before granting building access.
• Issue security badges to employees, contractors, and visitors in line with company
procedures.
• Investigate and document security incidents, including theft, safety breaches, and loss events.
• Prepares clear and concise investigation reports documenting incidents, findings, and actions
taken, completed within the incident management software system.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and other critical incidents.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems to ensure secure facility operations.
• Operate fire and burglar alarms and report irregularities promptly.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols to identify security risks and ensure property
protection.
• Manage building keys and ensure access to secure areas is controlled and documented.
• Support secure product transfer processes, including audit counts and paperwork.
• Assist in handling incoming/outgoing mail and packages, working with internal departments
and external vendors.
• Stay updated on company security procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with applicable security and quality standards (e.g., cGMP, ISO 13485).
• Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Security Guard (military, law enforcement, or private
sector).
• Basic computer skills; report writing, knowledge of security equipment and systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional demeanor; attention to detail;
reliability.
