- Reconcile Granite’s cost and revenue records to ensure Granite is charging customers for all ordered services.
- Review Granite’s Non-Recurring costs (Construction, Early Termination Fees) and take applicable action on missed revenue or incorrect cost.
- Perform ADHOC audits on high priority initiatives.
- Compile the team’s weekly dispute population and ensure the disputes are delivered to the appropriate party.
- Submit timely, well documented disputes to vendors for erroneous billing via the standardized dispute process.
- Monitor and reject any incomplete billing disputes that would quickly be denied by the vendors.
- Collaborate internally with teams at Granite to resolve billing issues on the carrier side.
- Resolve inquiries from internal teams on assigned Email day.
- Submit carrier disputes initiated by other teams at Granite. Track claims to completion.
- Leadership roles.
- Building and delivering financial reports for Upper Management.
- Writing data to company databases to enhance current audits, as well as building new audits.
- Engage with Upper Management at high visibility meetings that drive company direction.
- Leading conference calls with other telecommunication providers to resolve outstanding billing issues and maintain relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experienced in understanding audit concepts, and data analysis.
- Excellent research skills-Proven problem-solving skills.
- Self-Motivated-Ability to work equally well under supervision and independently.
- Comfortable in a team setting.
- Experience with Power Pivot or Power BI.
- Understand SQL or similar database languages.
- Proven success and interest in process improvements.
- Prior experience in the Telecommunications industry.
- Strong data mining and analytical skills.
- Negotiation skills.

General Summary of Position:
Cost Assurance Team has an opening for a Cost Audit Analyst to be responsible for reviewing invoiced charges and working with our vendors and internal departments in resolving billing issues, auditing carrier invoices, and submitting disputes to resolve billing issues.
