      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Utilize child welfare practice skills to protect children from abuse and neglect
      - Collaborate with families and the legal system to achieve reunification or permanent living situations
      - Conduct assessments and develop case plans for children and families in need
      - Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with regulations
      - Participate in training and professional development to enhance service delivery

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a bachelor's or master's degree in human services areas such as social work, psychology, or sociology
      - Valid driver's license
      - Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and demonstrate respect for diversity
      - Experience in child welfare practices or related fields
      - Completion of mandatory training programs as specified by the employer

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working in child welfare or related social services
      - Completion of the Child Welfare Certificate Program from an endorsed Michigan School of Social Work
      - Familiarity with state laws and regulations related to child welfare
      - Previous participation in new worker training institutes for child welfare programs
      - Additional certifications or training in related fields
