Prepare technical documentation to support proper declarations, following best in class practices, duty of care, due diligence and demonstrate the “best of knowledge” principle
Support the business with all customs transactions, by collecting from suppliers Free Trade Agreements certificates to leverage duty free imports and exports (USMCA, CPTPP, MX-EU, CETA, and other FTAs).
Develop meaningful KPIs, statistics and dashboard to support strategic business decisions
Conduct analysis to identify parts and HTS with the highest impact on duty avoidance benefits
Participate in the documentation process to answer requests from customs authorities such as CF28, CF29 from CBP, but also from CBSA, SAT, and worldwide
Define, review and monitor product and material composition provided by our business partner (steel, aluminium, cooper, and other materials declarations in weight and value)
Ensure that everything is done in accordance with the rules and regulations, while doing so at an efficient and fast cadence
Extract data and make reports from customs platforms, such as ACE
Contribute innovative ideas for process improvement.
Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Customs or related Topic
Knowledge of Customs Laws & Regulations
Capability to work in a high-pressure environment
Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel (complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong ability to build and manipulate Power BI reports
Team Player with a "can-do and will-do" attitude
SAP Knowledge
Minimum 2 years of meaningful Experience in related fields
Languages: French, Spanish & English

We are looking for a Customs Compliance Auditor to support the organization on the key processes of international trade compliance by gathering data for internal audit purposes, while executing reports as directed by the compliance lead and monitoring the controls in place. You will contribute in implementing the corrective actions to maintain best in practice compliance practices.
You will provide technical information on compliance such as valuation, classification, origin determination, FTA eligibility for preferential duty treatment, duty payments and penalty incidences, and valuation, among other important new custom declaration parameters. Also be part of a team of dynamic and passionate professionals influencing the way people move
