Job Description

- Monitor various threat intelligence feeds, open-source platforms, dark web forums, and industry reports to identify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends.
- Analyse and contextualise threat data to determine the potential impact on clients' environments and assess the level of risk.
- Detect and report on indicators of compromise (IOCs), tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) associated with potential cyber threats.
- Collaborate with Incident Response teams to provide timely and accurate threat intelligence during active security incidents.
- Develop profiles of threat actors, their motivations, capabilities, and infrastructure to enhance understanding of potential adversaries.
- Attribute cyber threats to known threat groups or nation-state actors based on evidence and analysis.
- Perform in-depth analysis of cyber threats, including malware analysis, network traffic analysis, and behaviour analysis, to understand attack methodologies and potential impact.
- Generate reports and presentations detailing findings, analysis, and recommended mitigation strategies.
- Create actionable threat intelligence reports and advisories tailored to client environments, ensuring they are relevant and comprehensible for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Security Operations, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management, to enhance the overall security posture.
- Communicate threat intelligence findings to clients, providing insights into the evolving threat landscape and recommending appropriate countermeasures.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities to anticipate emerging threats.
- Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and methodologies to improve threat intelligence capabilities.
- Engage with clients to understand their unique threat landscapes and business objectives, providing tailored threat intelligence insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Industry-recognised certifications such as CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst (CRTIA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+).
- Strong understanding of cyber threat landscape, threat actors, and attack vectors.
- Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms, security tools, and SIEM solutions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex threat information and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing comprehensive reports and effectively communicating findings.
- Collaborative nature and the ability to work seamlessly in cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
