Job Description
- Req#: 4060674
- Incident Detection & Response: Actively monitor network traffic to identify anomalies. Utilize advanced tools to perform intrusion analysis and lead incident handling efforts to mitigate threats.
- System Administration (Privileged Access): Maintain and configure Operating Systems and Computing Environments (OS/CE) in accordance with security technical implementation guides (STIGs).
- Access Management & Compliance: Execute IAM (Information Assurance Management) functions to ensure only authorized users have access to sensitive data, maintaining the "least privilege" principle.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular system scans (IAT functions) to identify hardware and software vulnerabilities; coordinate the deployment of patches and security updates.
- Technical Support: Provide Tier I/II technical support for secured networks, ensuring connectivity is maintained without compromising the security posture.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, system configurations, and compliance audits to meet DoD reporting requirements.
- Travel may be required
- IAT Level 1: CompTIA A+, Network+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security.
- IAM Level 1: CAP, GSLC, or Security+ CE.
- Cyber Defense (CD): CEH, GCIA, CSIH, or GCIH.
- OS/CE Requirement: A formal Operating System/Computing Environment certificate of training for the specific systems being managed.
- Education: Associate degree from an accredited university in a technical field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a closely related field
- Professional Designation: CNSSI 4011 Information System Security (INFOSEC) Professional and a minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a closely related field
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the cybersecurity field.

Description
This position is contingent upon successful contract award.
Responsible for protecting, monitoring, and defending the organization's information systems and networks. Must be able to balance daily technical support with high-level incident response and compliance auditing to ensure the integrity of the mission-critical network.
