What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive quality strategy for assigned product areas, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Partner with Product and Engineering to embed QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on user stories and requirements
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across web and blockchain components
- Analyze quality trends and KPIs to proactively identify risk areas and recommend preventative measures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and defect tracking systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive quality across cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification
- Experience running performance tests using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PHP, Python, Node.js)
- Experience in travel, payment, or blockchain-related fields
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth company environment
