Job Summary:
- Work cross-functionally to collect and analyze data, determine trends, and provide expert visualization insights.
- Utilize various data sources and visualization tools to import, clean, transform, and manipulate data for decision-making purposes.
- Possess in-depth experience and knowledge in analytical tools and big data technologies.
- Collaborate with product organization and external partners to define and publish complex data and dashboard products.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in data subject areas such as product, performance, network operation, and set-top box data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, AWS QuickSight, and Looker.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, focusing on AWS, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and one programming language such as Scala or Python.
- Experience with Databricks, including cluster management, notebook development, and Spark optimization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide training and act as a technical resource for team members.
- Present results, recommendations, and business insights to senior leadership.
- Produce visual reports, graphs, summaries, and presentations that align with business needs.
- Conduct basic research on the root cause of data anomalies.
- Participate in defining business intelligence requirements for projects and data requests.
