- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with GPS systems
- Physical fitness to lift and carry packages of varying weights
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery or professional driving experience preferred
- Proficiency in using delivery management software is a plus
- Knowledge of local area and traffic patterns is beneficial
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be preferred for larger vehicles
