Delphi Java Developer
WhippanyAs a Barclays Delphi Java Developer, you will be a member of the Exception Management technology team, responsible for building and enhancing the next generation of exception and workflow management. You will be responsible for design and development of strategic exception management platform and enhancements to the current application. You will also be interacting with the users to understand issues / feedback and incorporate the same in developing solutions all while providing third line support for the applications.

What will you be doing?
• Building, optimizing and maintaining high volume, and low latency business critical exception management system
• Building highly available, and performance oriented Java Microservices based applications
• Delivering business requirement end to end across various modules
• Writing and maintaining unit tests and BDD tests
• Integrating backend webservice calls
• Troubleshooting issues and solve problems as and when neededWhat we’re looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience - five+ years of experience
• Expertise in design and development for Java based microservices application
• Expertise in Spring framework, Apache Camel framework
• Proven knowledge of microservices logging, distributed tracing, monitoring, debugging and testingSkills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of Elastic stack
• Experience working in cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and Openshift
• Knowledge of Teamcity / Jenkins build tools
• Experience working with MongoDBWhere will you be working?
