      DENGUE BRAND LAUNCH PROJECT MANAGER

      OBJECTIVE

      The Dengue Brand Launch Project Manager will support Takeda’s dengue program and the successful development and execution of its global commercial launch strategy to achieve launch success.

      Working in cross functional and project teams, the Dengue Brand Launch Project Manager will report directly to the Global Dengue Brand Lead and work closely with relevant stakeholders across functions, including Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Policy, Supply, and Communications.

      The main responsibilities of this role include:

      • Global Launch Excellence
      • Cross-functional Project Management
      • Brand team strategic priority project support

      Additionally, there may be opportunities to provide ad hoc support to other commercially-led strategic projects within marketing, operations, and/or market access.

      ACCOUNTABILITIES

      Global Launch Excellence Management

      • Align with global cross functional leads to ensure inclusion of relevant priority activities into Global Launch Plan; facilitate global cross-functional tactic prioritization and updates with tactic owners; identify dependencies, opportunities, and risks; escalate risks as needed.
      • Routinely track progress and flag any risks to completion of Global Launch Plan activities on a monthly basis
      • Maintain SmartSheet Global Launch Plan tracker. Train tactic owners on SmartSheet usage; support Sub-team leads/tactic owners with customized extracts and analysis of tactics.
      • Support with preparation for quarterly senior leadership launch reviews, utilizing the Global Launch Plan to illustrate progress to date, key opportunities and risks.
      • Lead inclusion of global launch excellence status into VBU Executive Dashboard. Provide continued general maintenance and implement UX improvements and new features. Train as needed for roll-out of new features and resolve technical issues
      • Lead the review and update of commercial risks, as part of the overall GPT Risk Registry

      Cross-functional Project Management

      • Provide project management support to several global cross-functional project teams, each responsible for critical commercialization and launch priorities
        • Responsible for internal meeting documentation and follow up with team;
        • Manages scheduled and ad-hoc team meetings, establishing meeting agendas, facilitating effective team discussions, driving to clear and timely team actions and decisions, driving and holding team members accountable for action item follow-through;
        • Create and manage a team space for sharing & collaboration;
        • Leverage knowledge of project management best practices to deliver efficient partner program execution that is focused on smooth and quality interactions with a focus on speed to launch;
        • Provide monthly status update of GLP for discussion (identify GLP risks, facilitate mitigation solutions).
      • Proactively manage changes in project scope and create contingency plans in a constantly changing environment.
      • Manage the identification of potential issues or obstacles and achieve resolution or plans contingencies and follow issues through to resolution
      • Generate collaboration, cooperation, and communication across and between functional team members obtaining buy in of all team members to integrated product strategy

      Brand team strategic priority project support

      • Global Brand Plan Development
        • Determine plan and process for yearly global brand plan development, acting as point of contact for agency of record and cross functional, cross-BU team responsible for contributing to development of the plan
        • Lead development of global brand team’s deliverables plan
        • Represent Global Dengue Brand Team at monthly Global Brand Excellence meetings and share knowledge with broader team
      • Congress Planning and Management
        • Plan for vendor selection
        • Project manage the planning team meetings, congress pre-meetings, outputs as well as Takeda delegate attendance tracking
      • Veeva related activities:
        • Support preparations and review of critical external stakeholder meeting decks and content
        • MMRL meeting planning & management
        • Lead brand portal configuration and updates as well as communications between agencies
        • Work with Veeva librarians to manage and improve the Veeva dashboard management/KPIs

      EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

      • BS/BA Required, Masters/MBA preferred.
      • At least 7-10 years of experience in professional project management experience within a multidisciplinary global environment
      • Experience with launching or managing launch/life-cycle management activities for a cross-functional organization
      • Experience in the vaccine / pharmaceutical industry
      • Commercial functional knowledge
      • Experience working in a matrix environment, preferably a global organization
      • Proficiency with MS suite tools, including Office and Project; Fluid use of SharePoint and O365
      • Proven ability to work independently in a different location than the main organization
      • Process improvement experience
      • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing and growing business environment
      • Fluency in spoken and written English, other languages useful

      TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

      • Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. Some international travel may be required.

      Location and Salary Information:

      Base Salary Range: $143,5,00 to $205,000, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees may also be eligible for Short Term and Long-Term Incentive benefits as well. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days & Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program and Paid Volunteer Time Off.

      The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.

      This position is currently classified as “hybrid” in accordance with Takeda’s Hybrid and Remote Work policy.”
