What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist House Officers and faculty in daily patient treatment and related functions
- Provide support in patient care activities and ensure a positive patient experience
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication with patients and team members
- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills in daily tasks
- Collaborate closely with a variety of personality types within the healthcare team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Relevant coursework or specialized training in dentistry or a related field
- Minimum of six months post-high school education/experience related to dentistry
- Certification as a dental assistant or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program
- Certification to take radiographs and for extended duties (e.g., coronal polishing)
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft Dental Software
