      Job Summary:
      The Community Health Center of Niagara (CHCN), located in Niagara Falls, NY, is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join their mission-driven health center. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing direct patient care, promoting dental hygiene, and overall oral health. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern facility and positively impact the community.

      Responsibilities:
      - Provide direct patient care, including prophylaxis, examinations, fluoride applications, sealants, scaling, root planning, and other permitted services.
      - Conduct and process radiographs.
      - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and overall oral health.
      - Maintain cleanliness in dental operatories and sterilize instruments.
      - Assist with inventory management of dental supplies.
      - Handle clerical tasks like answering phones and scheduling appointments.
      - Collaborate effectively with patients and staff, demonstrating personal integrity.
      - Interact professionally with patients of diverse backgrounds and age groups.
      - Pursue continuous professional development through education and literature.
      - Contribute to Quality Improvement and Assurance activities as necessary.
      - Attend staff meetings regularly and ensure consistent attendance.
      - Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

      Qualifications:
      - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
      - Possession of a valid NYS dental hygiene registration certificate.
      - Preferred: One (1) year of experience in a general dental practice.
      - Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in a community healthcare setting.

      Salary:
      $68,390 - $81,744 annually, depending on experience.
