- Ensure the patient has the best experience they can have from the moment they first contact the practice to when they check out
- Ensure you have an excellent communication pathway in place between yourself, the team and the patients
- Take control of the reception duties and complete reports as necessary
- Diary management, zoning and appointment booking following practice policy
- Always answer incoming calls in a professional manner and ensure that any messages/enquiries are noted and passed to the relevant person for follow up
- Make telephone calls as requested by clinicians and in response to patient enquiries
- Manage incoming/ outgoing enquires in a timely manner and always meet deadlines
- Ensure that any communications are noted effectively so an audit trail of any form of communication can be referred to at any time
- Patient finance, applications and cash handling and end of day cashing up
- Help patients sign up to the dental plan

Job summary

Lighthouse Dental practice in Ipswich, are looking for a dental receptionist who has previous dental experience. Whether you are a dental nurse looking to change direction or have previous experience working as a dental receptionist apply now to join our friendly, highly motivated, and hardworking team.
We are offering this position on a full or part-time position from 24 to 40 hours per week, which will include one Saturday morning in 6. (8.45-13.15 additional to contracted hours).
The practice is open Monday Friday 08.15-17.30 and Saturday 7.45 - 2pm.
