      Little, Brownu2019s art department is seeking a creative Design Assistant who will be responsible for tracking projects, assisting with design projects, and day to day administrative tasks.
      Weu2019re a small, collaborative team of Art Directors andu00A0designers, and we develop our projects in-house. Theu00A0Design Assistant will work with the art directors on all levels of theu00A0design process including, art research, contracts, scheduling, approval, and production. This is an entry-level position with a lot of growth potential.

      Essential duties:
      • Provide administrative support to the Art Department
      • Art Research
      • Do art corrections in Photoshop and InDesign
      • Being a liaison between production and Art
      • Maintain updated workflow status on all projects
      • Take notes during weekly production meetings and follow up with team members on next steps
      • Perform other administrative tasks, such as contract and invoice requests

      Requirements:
      • Entry-level position. Previous industry experience is welcome but not required.
      • BFA in graphicu00A0designu00A0or a related field
      • Very organized and detail-oriented
      • Can work independently and collaboratively
      • Strong communication skills
      • Intermediate skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
      • Eager to learn more about books, design, and illustration

      The compensation range for this position isu00A0$50,000. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location u2014 talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
