Job Description

- Assist ServiceNow CMDB Administrator, Sr Solutions Architect, and ServiceNow System Administrators with discovery requests, data integration and reconciliation, and support of Service Mapping.
- Design, develop, configure and customize ServiceNow discovery jobs and integrations.
- Support of CMDB administration, ITOM, and Asset Management data integrity.
- Install and configure Management, Instrumentation, and Discovery (MID) Servers on the internal network.
- Schedule Optimization: Design and manage discovery schedules, including IP ranges and credentials
- 3 years of hands-on programming experience in a ServiceNow administration or applications development role.
- Experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) to business processes, content, tools, and/or documents, with the ability to provide specific examples of accessibility improvements made.
- Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (CIS-DISCO)
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)

The ServiceNow Developer II (Discovery) is responsible for the end-to-end implementation and management of the ServiceNow Discovery services to provide a real-time, accurate inventory of an organization’s IT infrastructure. The ServiceNow Discovery Developer role is a technical resource that possesses advanced administrative capabilities and is able to design, develop, and customize ServiceNow Discovery patterns and mappings. The Developer works across the enterprise, delivers new functionality and innovative solutions, and supports the entire development lifecycle in support of ITOM and the CMDB. The ServiceNow Developer has a software development background that will be enhanced by ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, and Scripting in ServiceNow.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While most salary offers are made within the posted range, occasionally an offer is made below or above the posted range based upon this salary analysis.

OIT candidates and employees must comply with any screening procedures in place at state entity locations where they might be required to perform work.

This position may require travel within the specified geographic area, and to locations across the state as needed.
This position may require on-call duties as needed by the position.

While candidates from out of state will be considered for this role, the candidate selected for the position must relocate and reside in Colorado on the first day of their new position.
