  The Enablement Applications team is responsible for optimising a broad suite of software products, across project / programme management, collaboration and devops.

  EnApps work closely with business users across the whole of Sky Group to ensure they have the right technology tools at their fingertips. It’s a growing team who work closely with some of the most innovative technology suppliers in the world.

  What you’ll do:

  • Daily management, administration and optimisation for Jira and Confluence
  • Proactively engage the community of users to generate insight in how teams within Sky across different areas are using Jira and Confluence
  • Work directly with the solution architects to design new solutions e.g., build out integrations with existing Sky systems, amend and develop new workflows and look at where existing add-ons can be used
  • Implement upgrades/updates when required
  • Monitor for vulnerabilities and ensure users are notified if any common vulnerabilities are identified within the system
  • Lead technical design sessions to derive business requirements and how these can be translated for the Atlassian tools
  • Identify, isolate and troubleshoot issues in the deployment of code in the Dev, Test and Production environments
  • Work with business leaders to understand their requirements and to lead your team in designing solution improvements to the Jira/Confluence

  What you’ll bring:

  • Experience as a DevOps engineer within group technology functions
  • Extensive experience of Jira, Confluence and the wider Atlassian suite of tools (preferably with certifications such as ACP-120 Jira Administrator for Cloud Certification or the ACP-620 Managing Jira Projects for Cloud Certification
  • Full lifecycle exposure and understanding of modern methodologies e.g., Agile
  • Understanding of enterprise security practices, cloud platforms and services, CI/CD and building pipeline experience
  • Stakeholder management experience to support the community of users

  Where you’ll work:

  Osterley

  Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

  On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

  Leeds

  Our spacious tech hub is less than a mile from Leeds train station. There’s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.

  Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston South train station and the town centre. Plus there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
