Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field—or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience working across IT systems environments (OS, networking, applications, platforms, databases)
Experience with test‑driven development, release management, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterscrum)
Technical proficiency with Unix/Linux, Apache, .NET, Python, Java, PowerShell, and PHP
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues
Curiosity and a passion for experimenting with new tools, techniques, and approaches
Proven success working in fast‑paced, collaborative, team‑based environments
Understanding of business processes and solid financial acumen
Master’s degree in Computer Science, MBA, or related field
7+ years of experience across IT systems environments
Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar database technologies
Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Xen, KVM)
Hands‑on experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, etc.)
Broad knowledge of development methodologies across multiple technology stacks
Strong understanding of network protocols and client‑server communication
Experience working within ITIL‑based environments
Exposure to CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Manage the full product lifecycle for deployable products—from ideation through deployment, support, and eventual decommissioning
Work closely with development, QA, release engineering, operations, site support, and infrastructure teams to ensure high‑quality deployment artifacts throughout the pipeline
Design, implement, and maintain automation that streamlines deployment from code check‑in through production
Apply hands‑on technical expertise while communicating effectively across technical and non‑technical teams
Champion automation standards, best practices, and continuous improvement
Support a 24x7 manufacturing environment through proactive monitoring and responsive issue resolution
Adhere to Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures

Play a critical role in shaping how Charter delivers technology. In this position, you will identify and optimize the interdependencies between applications, development, and infrastructure operations to enable seamless, continuous delivery. You’ll work across a wide range of technologies and teams to drive product‑based and iterative delivery models that support Charter’s strategic goals. This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on role where you’ll influence how products are built, deployed, supported, and evolved.
