- Provide input and support for buy-in and recommend the development of new and/or enhanced processes that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses.
- Conduct cybercrime related investigations and/or ad hoc requests and report fraudulent and/or inappropriate activities.
- Enable internal stakeholder investigations of fraudulent claims.
- Provide digital forensic evidence to stakeholders.
- Report and recommend actions related to cyber-related crime information to Enterprise Risk Committees (ERCOs).
- Assist stakeholders by providing professional advice and assistance on Nedbank systems, processes and digital forensic expertise in preparation of disciplinary processes, court appearances and civil and labour related litigation.
- Facilitate further criminal investigation and possible prosecution.
- Contribute to a culture of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI.
- Influence the improvement or enhancement of business processes and methodologies.
- Investigate digital forensic events by analysing cybercrime related incidences.
- Prevent losses, and where relevant, hand over to stakeholders for further action.
- Provide technical support to stakeholders.
- Monitor and intercept communication to aid investigations through gathering intelligence through electronic means.
- Manage billable hours allocated to each investigation.
- Deliver project results cost effectively.
- Obtain an understanding and ensure delivery of stakeholder's digital forensic needs and requests.
- Keep stakeholders updated on progress of digital forensic initiatives.
- Obtain relevant digital forensic tools.
- Build and maintain networks with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide professional assistance and/or advice to the industry.
- Build and maintain networks with relevant stakeholders by obtaining intelligence in aid of internal forensic investigations.
- Enable internal stakeholder investigations of fraudulent claims.
- 3 - 5 years experience in Digital Forensic examination, preferably in a Law enforcement agency
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Bachelor of Commerce: Information Technology , Diploma: IT Networking
- Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE) - essential, Access Data Certified Examiner (ACE) - preferred
