      Job Description

      Our team is responsible for championing the adoption of new digitalization and automation tools throughout the Bosch $1.5B+ North American Automotive Aftermarkets business. You would join our small, diverse team as we work with a community of over 50 technical experts to utilize robotic process automation software or “bots” to automate repetitive or manual tasks and thereby increase productivity and improve quality.

      You would be expected to master a variety of new tools and technologies to serve as a thought-leader, evangelist, and creative implementer throughout the North American Automotive Aftermarkets business. When successful you will liberate hundreds of professionals from the drudgery of repetitive tasks to allow them to better serve our customers. This project has been identified as a top priority by the leadership team.

      Core Responsibilities

      • Quickly develop expertise in 2 to 3 Automation and Visualization Tools (e.g. Alteryx, Automation AnyWhere, Catalytic, Celonis, PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate) and/or Technologies (e.g. Python, AI/Neural Nets, etc.)
      • Partner with subject matter experts in our business functions to apply these tools to drive measurable productivity and/or quality improvement.
      • Develop deep business process knowledge and foster relationships within critical business areas (and/or leverage existing). Use this expertise to deliver solutions to automate existing pain points using sound project management discipline. Experience with Lean Management/Agile a plus.

      Additional Responsibilities (Based on Candidate’s background, experience and interest)

      • Coordinate/Lead Quarterly Knowledge Sharing Activities for our Community of digitalization and automation experts
      • Develop a vision and strategy for what digitalization and automation will mean to our business in 5, 10, 20 years.
      • Help architect and design data analytics infrastructure
      • Coach existing & new automation users (e.g. support associates getting started with new tools, provide recommendations of potential tools for different automation projects, conduct brainstorming sessions with the teams, etc.)
      • Support with regular reporting functions and governance process (e.g. assist in assuring Skills Matrix, Savings Tracking workbook are accurate and current; assist with monthly Steering Committee Meetings; etc.)
      • Maintain and improve Balanced Scorecard (PowerBI)

      Qualifications

      • BS/MS in computer science, industrial automation, information technology, engineering, analytics or related technical degree or experience
      • 3+ years of experience
      • Strong analytical skills, ability and desire to self-learn new software or IT tools.
      • Multi-tasking and highly organized.
      • Entrepreneurial
      • Strong Excel Skills, experience with Power BI, Alteryx or other automation software a plus.
      • Ability to effectively communicate complex topics to management
      • Proactive, energetic attitude with willingness to take on new tasks
      • Strong Project and Program Management skills
