      As a leader within Enterprise Management Resources, you will coordinate and lead a comprehensive security program crafted to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to eBay's global employees and organization! Your primary focus will be to establish and maintain efficient crisis management protocols, own the strategy development, and drive operational excellence for all global security operation centers, develop protective intelligence strategies, and implement effective threat management and investigative measures. Our goal is to weave the fields of risk identification and investigation into our crisis response and communication structure to be a more proactive security organization.       Key Responsibilities:

      • Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures into a cohesive framework for the subject areas of information gathering/investigation, risk identification, crisis management, and global coordination.
      • Administrate and champion risk assessments, scenario planning, and playbook development with our business partners.
      • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure a timely and effective response to crises, employee concerns, or events with elevated risks.
      • Provide counsel and support to business units and management.
      • Build an adaptable framework that improves the use of innovative technology and flexible enough to incorporate new methodologies.
      • Develop and action a program improvement and personnel training roadmap.
      • Verbally brief as well as provide comprehensive reports to senior management during critical incidents while providing recommendations on ways to mitigate the risk to our personnel and business.
      • Support the business units with information and intelligence as well as assisting them in being prepared for the most likely risk events and crises.
      • Collaborate with external intelligence agencies and industry partners to stay informed about emerging threats.
      • Develop leadership in our teammates and grow the principles of ownership and accountability throughout the organization.

      Qualifications and Skills:

      • Bachelor's degree is required.
      • Experience (10+ years) in corporate security or local, state, federal law enforcement with 5+ years in management level positions. Successful candidates will have experience in crisis management, security operation center management, protective intelligence, and threat management.
      • Proven understanding of global security trends, intelligence analysis, and risk assessment methodologies.
      • Experience in leading crisis management teams and conducting effective crisis response exercises.
      • Proficiency in applying technology and systems for security monitoring, analysis and threat detection.
      • Excellent writing, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to work optimally with internal and external partners as well as the organization’s team members.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities as well as history in making decisions in fast paced situations.
      • Experience in developing organizational objectives and key results.
      • Strong critical reasoning and decision-making skills.
      • Knowledge of common enterprise systems to include but not limited to SAP, Concur, Ariba, ServiceNow, Workday, etc..

      Working Conditions

      • Up to 25% domestic and international travel expected in relation to site visits, leadership meetings and strategic initiative programs.

      The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.

      $160,400 - $254,100

      Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

      If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
