      Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Lead the coordination and preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual external reporting requirements.
      • Responsible for global consolidation process, cash flow, and equity statements.
      • Assist in the month-end close process, specifically in reviewing audit sensitive areas such as management estimates for reserves, such as deferred tax assets and liabilities and stock option/equity accounting.
      • Responsible for all accounting and reporting related to lease accounting standard (ASC 842).
      • Maintain Financial Statement Close Process documentation for SOX compliance, as well as maintaining SOX documentation for other significant processes.
      • Assist in designing controls to meet SOX requirements, as necessary.
      • Remain up to date on all USGAAP changes.
      • Maintain Audited Report footnote supports and tie-out.
      • Coordinate Annual audits.
      • Maintain a completed GAAP checklist for all issued financial reports.
      • Assist in gathering all financial data required to make adequate Audit Footnote Disclosures and ensure that all data is accurate and complete.
      • Remain adaptable to take on any accounting or audit-related projects as they present themselves.

      Education, Experience & Travel Required

      • 10 - 15 years of experience in External/SEC financial reporting and corporate accounting, preferably with public company experience.
      • Certified Public Accountant preferred
      • Public accounting experience preferred (Big 4).
      • Experience in New Restaurant / Hotel / Retail development preferred.

      Computer Skills

      • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to leverage effectively.
      • Experience in consolidation/reporting tools, e.g. Hyperion/HFRM, OneStream, BPC, etc.

      Physical Demands

      Must have a high level of endurance and mental acuity and toughness to manage conflict and deal successfully with high-stress situations.

      Compensation

      Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
