      Director of NUBEQA Strategic Account Marketing

      Purpose:

Prostate cancer is the second most-commonly diagnosed cancer in men and a key area of focus for Bayer. The company’s franchise includes two marketed products, NUBEQA (darolutamide) and XOFIGO (radium-223). NUBEQA (darolutamide) is Bayer’s most recently approved prostate cancer therapy and is a flagship product for Bayer Pharmaceuticals given its importance to patients and blockbuster potential. We also have several compounds in development. Bayer is focused on addressing the unique needs of prostate cancer patients, providing treatments that extend their lives throughout the different stages of the disease and allowing them to continue their everyday activities, so that they can live longer, better lives.

      The Director of NUBEQA Strategic Account Marketing is an exciting opportunity for a high-energy individual interested in accelerating the growth of Bayer’s flagship oncology brand. The Director of Strategic Account Marketing will partner with the Oncology Key Account team to unlock large pools of NUBEQA business in current and future indications. This role will leverage analytics, marketing prowess, and key account strategies to activate key customers with speed and innovation.

      Key Tasks:

      Establish NUBEQA leadership in prostate cancer by:

      • Leveraging data-driven insights to get ahead of market trends and establish Bayer as a trusted partner for key accounts;
      • Developing and delivering innovative marketing strategies across key strategic partners (e.g., large clinics, IDNs, GPOs, other oncology groups);
      • Galvanizing complex matrix teams to flawlessly execute tactics on time and budget;
      • Leading agency relationships to execute key account strategies and tactics;
      • Directing Key Account & GPO partnerships, Congress planning, and advisory boards with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Market Access, Medical/HEOR, Digital/Media Center of Excellence;
      • Building relationships with key account decision makers;
      • Partnering with Data Science & Advanced Analytics and Business Insights teams to create, monitor, and report KPI;
      • Participating in LMR reviews of critical materials;
      • Providing an environment that fosters learning, open communication, teamwork, and fun to maintain and expand our high-performing team.

      Qualification & Competencies:

      • BA/BS is required;
      • Significant years of Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience, including marketing experience;
      • Experience creating, leading, and implementing innovative strategies in complex matrix organizations;
      • High emotional intelligence level and interpersonal skills to influence without authority across diverse cross- functional teams;
      • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and make decisions in ambiguous/uncertain situations;
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
      • Passion for patients and self-motivation;
      • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • MBA or other advanced degree preferred;
      • 10+ years of Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience;
      • 3+ years experience in marketing;
      • Experience in Oncology and/or Urology strongly preferred;
      • Pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred, with focus on key account/IDN/GPO customers;
      • Digital marketing experience preferred;
      • Agile marketing experience preferred.
