      A Brief Overview:
      Provides overall operational and strategic leadership for the assigned contiguous market geographies and geographies to be captured through organic and inorganic growth operations, programs, and services. Develops and directs all functions related to the service line. Develops and maintains a deep knowledge of overall department functions. Responsible for the direction and oversight of the operation and growth of the Specialty Service Line physician offices of EEH for any employed and affiliate physician. In conjunction with the administrative and physician leaders, responsible for program business development and strategic planning. Uses data and information to identify and articulate common goals & opportunities, related to the physician network plan development. This includes proposal development and presentations, negotiations, identification of appropriate action items, financial analysis, justifying budgets, and selecting and monitoring appropriate metrics for success. Models service excellence in all aspects of the role. Responsible for maintaining technological and clinical excellence, ensuring all sites are managed in a consistent manner, embracing patient-centered service standards and efficient operational processes that support service excellence. Ensures services are coordinated efficiently and effectively from a patient care perspective. Responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating clinical and business operations of all EEMG physician practices - both primary care and specialty practices. Provides consultative services for all aspects of the practice. Oversees adherence to established budgets, policies, procedures, patient care, and office practices. Identifies areas for improvement, and recommends revisions to procedures, patient care and office practices. Develops and implements customer focused, safe, user-friendly, and cost-effective patient care.

      What you will do:
      • Analyzes, coordinates, and develops all relevant dimensions of specialty care physician offerings across they system and implements physician recruitment and the opening of newly acquired physician offices which includes, but is not limited to, information systems and operational improvement recommendations.
      • Leads the physician network development discussion with planning and is then responsible for coordination of physician recruitment, onboarding, and retention. Communicates effectively with Governance Council and departments on status.
      • Acts as a liaison with physician and management team (in addition to multiple Medical Directors) in order to foster physician leadership and staff growth and which is consistent with patient satisfaction, patient quality and safety, mission/philosophy, and unit-based goals.
      • Partners with physician leaders and CMOs to develop and lead supporting committee meetings to strengthen physician led culture and communication at all levels.
      • Represents Medical Specialty Office operations when working with and planning with Managed Care and Population Health Departments on insurance contracting and incentive programs related to quality and efficiency.
      • Stays abreast of changes in marketplace, i.e., Medicare, Medicaid. ACO, Clinical integration, etc. and makes necessary adjustments to practice operations.
      • Provides assistance and guidance in resolving interdepartmental problems, is an effective leader, mentor, and motivator. Establishes an environment of positive morale and teamwork.
      • Determines appropriate alternative methods in delivery of care, such as team based care, centralization, etc. in cooperation with providers and department resource personnel, and implements approved changes in patient care practices.
      • Oversees the development and roll out of policies and procedures through leading and participation on committees.
      • Oversees the capital and operation budget. Administers and monitors expenditures and implements correction action to resolve budget variances, determines needs for consolidation and standardization.
      • Maintains a cooperative working relationship with physicians and various departments across the system to coordinate efforts, resolve operational problems and improve services provided.
      • Interviews, hires, orients, trains, develops, and evaluates the performances of and, when necessary, disciplines and/or discharges department management and personnel (including physicians and APPs). Provides direction, as necessary, to managers/staff regarding sensitive and/or complex work, related problems, resolves complaints and responds to inquiries regarding department operations.

      What you will need:
      • Bachelors Degree Health Administration Required Or
      • Bachelors Degree Business Administration/Management Required Or
      • Masters Degree Health Administration Preferred Or
      • Masters Degree Business Administration/Management Preferred
      • 5+ Years of medical group operations-related management experience
      • Ability to organize, establish priorities, and manage multiple projects at one time.
      • Demonstrates commitment to the EEH experience by integrating both Behaviors and Operating Principles in all internal and external customer interactions.
      • Performs duties with accountability, competency, innovation, collaboration, compassion, and respect to create the best possible clinical outcomes with exceptional customer experiences.
      • Extensive experience in effectively building programs and leading the achievement of successful outcomes in a heavily matrixed organization.
      • A valid driver’s license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an offsite location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested. Required
