- Coordinates to deliver exceptional results through a collaborative leadership style that inspires and motivates.
- Manages, mentors, collaborates, trains, and supports recruiters to ensure a high-performing recruitment team.
- Effectively covers open requisitions by following existing processes and rigor to manage teams and searches with little or no need for third party support.
- Works with recruiters to develop recruitment strategy, set priorities, and define quarterly and annual recruitment goals.
- Acts as business partner to hiring managers and responsible for annual recruitment goals.
- Develops and maintains relationships with executives and other stakeholders to collaborate on recruitment needs.
- Manages requisition requests. Collaborates with hiring managers on understanding the requests for adding and backfilling positions as well as job description creation.
- Interviews candidates over the telephone, virtually, and/or in person.
- Sources and recruits for designated positions based on team bandwidth, level of position, and executive impact.
- Manages requisition load and handles full cycle recruitment responsibilities.
- Collaborates with compensation on candidate package requests.
- Communicates with stakeholders regarding onboarding new hires, terminations, internal transfers, etc.
- Works with leadership on maintenance and enhancements of ATS.
- Communicates with the budget team to ensure budget alignment with recruiting initiatives.
- Builds a high-performing recruitment team to include forming a vision and strategy, setting department objectives in alignment with the needs of the business, engaging members of the team, managing performance, and developing team members.
- Develops and implements strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
- Works to continually improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Drives activities that enhance proactive sourcing efforts, and increase the number of quality recruits through networking, competitive sourcing, etc., inclusive of developing relationships with Ardent-based and/or local medical schools and graduate medical education training programs.
- Leverages recruiting analytics to assess and improve the current strategy to ensure a world-class practice; take a data-driven approach to decision-making that will support a culture of continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- 10+ years of recruitment experience
- 5+ years of managing recruitment for a company with over 1,000 employees
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Experience recruiting physician and advanced practice practitioner positions required
- Knowledge of compliance with recruiting standards and practices for team members including but not limited to immigration status, EEO, OFCCP, job postings, etc.
- Willingness to own decisions, operate with discipline and rigor with a competitive drive to be the best.
- Ability to operate as a subject matter expert on recruiting with a consultative style.
- Ability to execute plans – both strategy and project related.
- Ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple-concurrent projects.

The Director of Provider Recruitment plays a key role in supporting company growth by leading the talent acquisition of physicians and advanced practice practitioners throughout the country. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment creating and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies rooted in inclusion and diversity in collaboration with business leaders.
