Work with the Head CSC to develop and align the strategic priorities
Ownership and accountability for Commercial Supply Chain Governance Processes and key performance indicators
Drive the goal setting and KPI target realization ensuring transparency and consistent reviews on key global Supply Chain indicators
Oversees daily operations in collaboration with the senior managers and department leaders
Leads, support and drive Commercial Supply Chain Projects which are critical to achieve mid/long term objectives
Has oversight on key projects and initiatives, driving priorities, monitor progress and support for escalations to projects and initiatives as well as ensures consistency among them
Supports cross functional initiatives, which are initiated by other related functions of strategic importance including compliance / quality generating synergies and/or financial benefits
Ensure process adherence, achieving timely implementation of processes improvements and projects to best possible costs whilst ensuring regulatory and compliance frameworks.
Identify, design and drive implementation of best practices and process improvements across CSC, to deliver business impact.
Drives appropriate CMC Management Reporting and ensures decision making by leadership team.
Accommodates ad hoc tasks which are necessary to achieve the business objectives of the unit and function
Education: University degree in technology, engineering, or management/business administration
15 years in various Supply Chain functions or roles of similar complexity
Excellence in project management, PMP certification a plus and/or black belt certification
Exceptional understanding of the Pharma industry & supply chain needs strongly preferred (Biotech experience a plus)
Advanced understanding of the cGxP’s
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate with senior CMC Management in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment – you are outgoing, communicative, and seek to build relationships on a daily basis
Well organized – a natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate and conduct your work
You drive for results – you set a high bar for yourself and others. You love what you do, and it shows

The Role:
The role is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organization in the biotech Industry. To continue driving our growth trajectory, we are looking for an Operations Lead which will support translating strategic priorities into business performance by driving tactical and operational priorities to establish quality, costs effectiveness and robustness of Commercial Supply Chain (CSC) processes in alignment with other functions, influencing across the Moderna ecosystem. Aligned with the strategy, he/she is responsible to manage and deliver strategic projects as well as driving actions to increase performance and utilize the resources (people, process and capital) to maximize value to internal and external customer.To be successful the individual combines technical expertise with strong communications skills and works collaboratively in a highly cross functional environment. He/she will quickly build relationships to achieve a competitive advantage in all aspects of CSC, which enhance supply chain standards and generate synergies and financial benefits across functions.
The Operations Lead will be an integral part of the CSC Lead team in this newly create role working closely with the VP Commercial Supply Chain.
