- Kits material for projects and inventory replenishment for Transmission & Distribution.
- Checks the accuracy and application appropriateness of requested material.
- Resolves and assist material issues with external and internal stakeholders.
- Supports bulk orderings in Spring and Fall by creating Purchase Requisitions and tracking Purchase Orders.
- Supports Distribution Automation program and other special construction projects.
- Handles email box and incoming calls for Distribution Materials Center.
- Responds to call-out schedule to support emergency and storms for Transmission & Distribution.
- Docks material and resolve inventory issues.
- Participates in annual inventory count.
- Supports Transmission & Distribution system warehousing technical applications, Maximo and Velocity.
- Monitors system Transmission & Distribution inventory levels and make adjustments as required to meet inventory value objectives.
- Maintains knowledge of various materials, manufacturers, product description and application.
- Maintains professional and effective relationship with external and internal stakeholders.
- Provides subject matter expertise, recommendations, and field support for Oncor construction and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment to Supply Chain management’s performance expectations.
- Accurately complete, file, and maintain required governmental, SOX, and environmental data.
- Assist in scheduling and planning of Transmission & Distribution outbound logistics operations.
- Participates in monthly Federal Energy Regulatory Commission cycle counts for Transmission & Distribution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service and project management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the Transmission construction sequence.
- Capability of Microsoft Office suite.

- Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Applicants with an AA, AS, BA/BS in Supply Chain or Logistics are encouraged to apply.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of Supply Chain related experience is preferred.
- Experience and Understanding of Maximo and Velocity.
- Ensure performance indicators, targets, and goals are met.
- Kit accuracy, application and appropriateness of requested material, and inventory accuracy.
- Effective and professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to complete assignments timely and correctly.

Position Summary
As a Distribution Materials Specialist at Oncor you will determine and prioritize which jobs will be kitted or filled internally or externally. This role has direct interaction with engineering, construction, and suppliers to determine needs. In this role, you will maintain appropriate inventory levels, determine what work will be performed by contractors, ensure areas are environmentally compliant and ensure environmental and governmental records are completed timely and filed according to regulations.
