      Job summary

      Vacancies:

      Relief Citywide to cover Burmantofts, Bramley, Chapeltown, Halton, Holt Park, Hunslet, Kirkstall, Meanwood, Morley, Pudsey, Rothwell, Seacroft, Woodsley 37.5 hours Monday to Friday split shift working 6am-9.30am and 4pm-8pm

      You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle

      As part of the role, you will be required to:

      • Work at various sites across the city for both the morning and evening shift
      • Keep our facilities clean to NHS standards
      • Monitor and maintain stock
      • Use cleaning equipment
      • Lone work
      • Have basic computer skills
      • Complete moving and handling tasks

      Main duties of the job

      You will provide a vital role in maintaining a quality cleaning service to the Health Centre and adhering to NHS Cleaning Standards.

      You will be using approved working methods with equipment, cleaning materials and work procedures for the following:

      • Sanitary areas, furniture, fixtures and fittings at high and low level. Maintain carpeting areas, hard flooring and upholstery.
      • Ensuring high standards of cleaning of furniture, fixtures and fittings in clinical and office areas Previous cleaning experience desirable; however, full training will be given.
      • You must be open and honest and be able to work using your own initiative and work well within a team.
      • You must have good communication skills with others, you will be able to receive feedback and be keen to learn.
      • Basic IT skills would be of an advantage to complete competency and compliance training online.
      • You will need to be a car driver as you are required to travel to various sites across the city for the morning and evening shift
