What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze fundraising, donor, and engagement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and data visualizations aligned with departmental KPIs
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise initiatives and shared reporting needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in nonprofit, higher education, or fundraising environments
- Experience with CRM and advancement systems (e.g., Salesforce, Campus Solutions)
- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and advanced analytics
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
