  Job Description:

  This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations in and around Humber/West Toronto Area. *NO DRIVING REQUIRED* The role involves working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, which requires continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages. This position is essential to providing excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication.

  Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary Seasonal

  Work Location: Humber/West Toronto, ON

  Workdays: Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days)

  Shift Time: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs)

  Hourly Wage: $18/hourly

  ** APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UP TO 25 HOURS PER WEEK**

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.

  • Meet UPS driver at assigned local meet point

  • Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively

  • Learn and properly execute UPS package handling/delivery methods

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required

  • Record, track, and maintain information about delivered package

  • Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided vest and uniform

  REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a part-time position, must be able to work 3-5 hours a day, various start times available between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Flexibility required)

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.

  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

  • Must be able to deliver packages by means of walking

  • Hours may vary depending on the work volume

  • Wage: $18/hourly

  EXPENSES/ WORKING CONDITIONS
