      Description

      Options Virtual Charter School is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Dual Programming & Outreach Specialist to join our Student Services team. This position works primarily with high school students, with some support at the middle level, to expand access to college and career opportunities through dual programming partnerships across Wisconsin.

      This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in leadership, values building strong partnerships, and is passionate about helping students design meaningful, future-focused pathways. This person also works very closely with the school principal in outreach and enrollment opportunities and processes. The Specialist will play a key role in connecting students to college courses, career experiences, and individualized support while helping to lead systems that ensure student success.

      Key Responsibilities
      • Develop and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, and technical institutions across Wisconsin to expand dual programming opportunities
      • Provide comprehensive college and career counseling to students and families, including academic planning, college readiness, and career exploration
      • Guide students through enrollment, placement, and success in dual credit and postsecondary opportunities
      • Collaborate with school staff to ensure alignment between high school coursework and postsecondary pathways
      • Lead and support Student of Concern meetings at the high school level in partnership with the School Counselor
      • Monitor student progress and proactively address barriers to success
      • Maintain consistent communication with students, families, staff, and external partners
      • Support outreach efforts to promote Options programming to prospective students and families
      • Contribute to the continued growth and innovation of the school's dual programming model

      Work Structure
      • 4 days per week on-site at Options Virtual Charter School
      • 1 day per week working virtually

      Preferred Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree required; background in education, counseling, or related field preferred
      • Experience in college and career counseling, dual enrollment, or student services
      • Strong leadership skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and support student-centered problem solving
      • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
      • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
      • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
      • Commitment to supporting diverse learners and non-traditional pathways to success
