      Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

      Designs, develops, and maintains electrical systems for company products, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical solutions.

      Responsibilities
      • Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts for new and existing products.
      • Write and maintain embedded code for microcontrollers, PLCs, or other platforms such as C/C++, Visual Basic.
      • Develop and maintain operating systems for company products.
      • Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
      • Troubleshoot electrical design issues, improve production efficiency, and implement design changes to enhance manufacturability.
      • Design electrical systems for tooling and test fixtures to support production and quality assurance processes.
      • Maintain electrical engineering documentation and databases.
      • Participate in product testing plans and oversee prototype evaluations.
      Essential Skills
      • Proficiency in PCB Design and AutoCAD Electrical.
      • Strong skills in electrical design and Electrical CAD software for creating accurate schematics and layouts.
      • Experience in single board PCB design.
      • Ability to write code for microcontrollers and PLCs.
      • Proficiency in PLC programming.
      Additional Skills & Qualifications
      • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
      • Experience with circuit design, PCB layout, and electrical testing.
      • Working knowledge of embedded programming (C/C++, Visual Basic, or similar).
      • Experience supporting manufacturing processes and troubleshooting production equipment preferred.
      • Familiarity with developing and maintaining operating systems, including real-time OS environments preferred.
      • Understanding of wireless communication technologies and protocols preferred.
      • 0-2 years experience, ideally someone with internship or production environment experience.
      • Hands-on opportunity suited for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, tinkering, or building circuits in their free time.
      Work Environment

      Hands-on working environment, combining work in the office, in a test lab, and on the floor within a production shop. The company offers training and development from the current electrical consultant and fosters a great company culture with long-term tenure throughout the company and team.       Job Type & Location

      This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Joseph, MO.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
